Jan Cisiecki (born 1996) – cinematographer, short film, music video and commercial director. He is a student at the Department of Cinematography at the Film School in Łódź. His short films have been showcased at many festivals, such as Camerimage, Warsaw Film Festiwal, the Gdynia Film Festival, Młodzi i Film, and many others. One of his projects, "My Secret Cybelove," was distinguished by PISF, which decided to co-finance the production, thus enabling the realization of his feature debut, scheduled for release next year.
He is a co-founder of the artistic collective "Widok," with which he creates film and multimedia projects. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with polish leading musical artists such as Bedoes, Pezet, Bracia Kacperczyk, Sobel, Mrozu, and has also shot the music video for Noa Kirel, who gained attention during the Eurovision Contest. In 2021, he won the award for Best Music Video of the Year according to Popkiller. Janek has also worked with renowned brands such as Miss Ti, Perła, and Kizzers.
His work is filled with a passion for rhythm, and at heart, he carries hip-hop and punk. He loves the films of Harmony Korine and old Polish love films.
